Foresight Associates are delighted to be recruiting for a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) focused solely on Oracle technology. Our client has been selling Oracle solutions for over 20 years, wrapped with Development, Consultancy and Support services making them one of the leading Oracle Platinum Partners in the UK.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Role summary:
You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities relating to Oracle Engineered Systems within existing Oracle customers. 100% of the leads that you generate will come from your own activity so you won’t be afraid to pick up the phone and qualify opportunities within “cold” companies – who have existing Oracle install base. You will be responsible for the identification of leads, including need analysis and solution positioning, and to nurture these to a point where the opportunity is defined and fully qualified before being engaged by an Account Director to further the sales cycle. You will liaise with Oracle sales representatives and work on campaigns in partnership and build rapport with your contacts. Progression to a sales role as an Account Manager is achievable with proven success after at least 12 months, therefore the role is ideal for anyone looking to start a career in high-end IT solution sales.

Required attributes:
• At least 12 months B2B sales or BDM experience in the IT industry. Servers/Storage / Converged Infrastructure experience will be a particular advantage.
• Decisive, focused and resilient in nature.

• Negotiable for the right candidate. £25k - £30k salary, private health and pension scheme (after 3 months of service) and £8,000 per year commission
• Salary is paid monthly in arrears
• Commission is paid quarterly in arrears
• Laptop and Linkedin Premium package provided
