Foresight Associates are delighted to be recruiting for a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) focused solely on Oracle technology. Our client has been selling Oracle solutions for over 20 years, wrapped with Development, Consultancy and Support services making them one of the leading Oracle Platinum Partners in the UK.

Job Title: Oracle Account Manager

Role summary: You will be tasked with identifying opportunities within some existing customers to sell Oracle software (on premise and Cloud) and our associated services (development, technical consultancy and support contracts). The majority of the business that you generate will be via new business so you won’ t be afraid to pick up the phone and qualify opportunities within “cold” companies (existing Oracle users). You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle and you will have a defined process that enables you to be successful (identification, positioning, nurturing, negotiating, closing and on-going account management for upsell/cross sell). You will have quarterly targets to achieve and will be given 3 months to get up to speed with the role and build a sustainable pipeline for continued success. You will liaise with Oracle sales representatives and work on campaigns in partnership and build rapport with your contacts.
You will also build a network of contacts within Oracle to develop new opportunities and campaigns for yourself to further improve your pipeline.

Job Description:
• Responsible for targeting existing customers to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
• Responsible for targeting known Oracle software users, who are not yet customers, to identify opportunities to sell our products and services
• Responsible for the complete life cycle of the sale – profiling, qualification, pitching, proposing, nurturing, negotiating and closing
• Responsible for on-going account management of your customers
• Achieve quarter on quarter sales targets

Required attributes:
• At least 12 months B2B sales experience in the IT industry (software licenses, cloud /hosting, consultancy/support services, hardware)
• Proven to be successful in the role and can demonstrate this via target to earnings
• Decisive, focused and resilient in nature
• Proactive pipeline stage management
• Understands the importance of forecasting and is used to reporting on deal progress and pipeline stages

• Negotiable for the right candidate (circ a £30k salary), £6k car allowance, private health and pension scheme (after 3 months of service) and £30K per year commission + accelerator (uncapped)
• Salary is paid monthly in arrears
• Commission is paid quarterly in arrears. Accelerator example: Achieve 120% of target and earn 140% of commission.
