Foresight Associates are delighted to be recruiting for the UK’s largest outsourcing specialist and leading professional services company.
You will be expected to drive growth for the business by exceeding your sales targets to generate high quality and profitable sales from a wide variety of new and existing customers within a sales territory designated by the company.
A consultative approach is needed to identify, develop and expand the production print business. This dynamic role is a results-driven position responsible for growing production print sales by new business development and adding new production print service lines to new and existing customers. The candidate will be expected to meet and exceed personal sales objectives and develop a network of contacts through which prospective customers are obtained, thus leading to future sales. The candidate will present solutions that strategically align with the client’s needs and printing / cross media industry trends. The ideal candidate will have the skills required to develop strategic proposals and solutions for the customer and delivering a comprehensive value proposition at C level.

• Generate sales through personal contact with clients and working with Group businesses including MPS Sales teams.
• Qualify new business prospects and build an active, high potential prospect list
• Solicit and present sales agreements for approval and acceptance
• Maintain a high level of service to existing clients; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service; and soliciting referrals from these customers, where possible.
• Meet new business targets and the objectives of employment
• Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
• To improve communications and customer service initiatives with key accounts
• Development of account growth strategies/initiatives
• Develop structured and sustainable customer relationships/communications
• Provide management information reports to customers and management.
• Strong sales skills and experience
• Excellent knowledge of capabilities of Print production centres / Printing Processes
• Excellent Knowledge of Estimating and Production Control Modules
• Excellent understanding of production print workflow tools and solutions
• Delivery of a Time & Territory plan that indicates your weekly / monthly activity
• Appoint and attend customer meetings that meet the criteria set in your Time & Territory plan
• Identify new business opportunities both from existing customers and from allocated vertical markets and/ or territory
• Manage the sales process through all aspects from generation of first appointment to the point of contract being signed
• Through key relationships with existing customers, identify additional and upgrade sales opportunities
• Maintain up to date and accurate CRM records
• Lead project groups and manage implementation
• Ensure production and presentation of MI reports to customer
• Present to internal sales groups
Job Experience – Essential:
• Sales experience within the production print industry
• Experience of successfully meeting sales targets
• Experience of the production print marketplace with a focus on corporate reprographics
• Experience or good understanding of both hardware, software and workflow products and solutions relevant to the production print market.
• Experience of networking and developing strong relationships
• Experience of working in a customer facing role.
• Experience of maximising sales times through excellent time management
• Able to demonstrate previous continuous sales results
• Proven ability to negotiate at senior management to director level
• Sales experience in the Managed print industry

Job Experience – Desirable:
• Experience working in a large corporate company environment
• Understanding of an IT infrastructure in the business environment

Technical skills – Essential:
• Microsoft literate in Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Technical skills – Desirable:
• Knowledge of or previous use of Sales Force
