THE ROLE
Foresight Associates are delighted to be recruiting for the UK’s largest outsourcing specialist and leading professional services company.
Due to further growth, and as market leading supplier of Managed Print Services, our client is looking for a highly talented, professional and industry experienced Sales Team Lead. You will be an accomplished public sector engagement lead selling a portfolio of solutions for Managed Print Services along with Document Technologies including business process management (BPM), document output management (DOM) and intelligent data capture and dissemination.
As Public Sector Team Lead, you will be experienced in the complexity of working with the public sector and able to take the lead in developing market sector opportunities.
At a time when the public sector is genuinely looking to create efficiencies, the client’s portfolio of Digital Document Transformation technologies has a compelling offering. You will own the success of the sector and will steer and drive the commercial proposition, growth and your team.
KEY ACCOUNTIBLITIES
• Identify new business opportunities within the Public Sector Marketplace, utilising relationships held, new engagements and national frameworks.
• As a player/manager, deliver team and individual sales targets and business objectives through an effective sales plan.
• Line management responsibility for the Public Sector Sales Team.

• Maintaining and organising adequate levels of activity that will be required for yourself and your team to deliver sales results and KPI’s.

• Delivery of a Time & Territory plan that indicates you and your teams weekly / monthly activity
• Manage the sales process through all aspects from generation of first appointment to the point of contract being signed.
• Manage and maintain key customer relationships through life of contract.
• Develop and manage business pipeline for allocated account group.
• Maintain up to date and accurate CRM records.
• Lead project groups and manage implementation.
• Produce and present MI reports to customer.
• Present to internal sales groups.
• Consistently delivering against assigned target, while prioritising and delivering outstanding customer sales experience to clients.

Job Experience – Essential:
• Experience of understanding and formulating managed print financial propositions
• Experience or good understanding of both hardware and software products relevant to the managed print arena
• Experience of networking and developing strong relationships, especially within Public Sector Sales
• Experience of maximising sales times through excellent time management
• Able to demonstrate previous continuous sales results
• Proven ability to negotiate at senior management to director level
• Sales experience within MPS/office/production industry or an IT/Software sales background

Job experience – Desirable:
• Experience working in a large corporate company environment
• Understanding of an IT infrastructure in the business environment
• Experience of managing Sales teams to successfully meet targets
• A number of years’ experience of Public Sector Sales Experience – selling Managed Print / Copy & Print / Copiers in to public sector
• Experience of working with public sector frameworks
Technical skills – Essential:
• Microsoft literate in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Technical skill – desirable:
• Knowledge of or previous use of CRM
